Normal Operation Instructions

1. Using on Windows

      • Connect the PSSD to your computer’s USB port.
      • Wait for the system to automatically detect the device.
      • Open This PC and check whether a new drive letter appears.
      • If no drive letter shows up, open Disk Management to check the disk status.
      • You may copy, paste, delete, play or back‑up files normally.
      • After use, click Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media in the system tray. Unplug the PSSD only after the system notifies you that safe removal is permitted.

      2. Using on macOS

      • Connect the PSSD to your Mac.
      • The drive will normally appear on the desktop or in the Finder sidebar.
      • If it does not appear, open Disk Utility for inspection.
      • If the drive uses the NTFS (New Technology File System, Windows‑native file system) format, macOS grants read‑only access by default; direct write operations are not supported.
      • When finished, click the eject icon inside Finder. Unplug the drive after its disk icon disappears.

      3. Using with Phones, Tablets and Other Mobile Devices

      • Confirm your phone or tablet supports OTG (On‑The‑Go, function for mobile devices to connect external USB hardware).
      • Connect the PSSD using a compatible Type‑C cable or adapter.
      • Open the system file manager to access external storage.
      • Some devices do not support NTFS, APFS or high‑capacity external storage drives.
      • After use, unmount the external storage via the notification panel or system storage settings before disconnecting the PSSD.

      4. Using with TVs, Car Infotainment Units, Game Consoles and Similar Hardware

          • Verify the host device supports external USB storage before use.
          • Confirm which file systems the host supports, e.g. FAT32, exFAT, NTFS.
          • Check the maximum supported storage capacity and compatible partition schemes of the host.
          • For video playback, verify that your video format, codec, resolution, bit‑rate and audio format are supported by the host hardware.
          • Exit playback or file‑access interfaces before unplugging the PSSD.
