Compatible Multi OS, Windows 7/ 8/ 8.1/ 10/ Linux/ MAC. It is suitable for connecting computers, Smart phones, laptops, PS4, and other devices. Please note, all new SSDs must be formatted before use.

SSD needs to be fully inserted for working

If there is a fatal errors or SSD can not be recognized: First, Please confirm your SSD is M.2 PCIE NVME SSD. Second, please confirm whether your SSD is fully inserted into the NVME Slot. If not, you need to push the SSD into the PCIE NVME Slot at a 45 degree angle.The pins of the SSD will be fully seated and covered.

The actual speed depends on the speed of your SSD, USB Port type and your computer performance etc To get a 10Gbps data transmission speed, the USB 3.1 interface on your PC should be USB 3.1 Gen 2, if your PC only with USB3.1 Gen 1 so its max speed is 5Gbps.
